Acrylic Textured Mixed Media Figurative Painting

This highly textured mixed media painting has been entered into a juried fall show. It is a piece similar to one that is on my website HERE that I decided I needed to keep for inspiration. I applied a textured ground, and some oriental papers for additional texture, and painted it with acrylic and acrylic glazes.

Daily Paintworks now has approximately 450 artists in their gallery. There are painting challenges and paintings to bid on and a lots of paintings to view and enjoy.

Lake Granbury Art Association members are hanging new work in the library thanks to chairman, Carol Mercer. I submitted several of the acrylic mixed media pieces covered with the epoxy resin glaze and they will be on display until October.
