"Charms and Legends"
Acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas 1 1/2" profile
12 x 12 in.
I've been busy painting entries for the "Preservation is the Art of the City" show September 11-26, 2009 at the Community Arts Center, Fort Worth, TX, and this show is free and open to the public. Fifty local artists were juried to exhibit in this show and have the choice to exhibit one or up to 9 paintings each. A portion of the sales will help fund preservation programming for Historic Fort Worth. I hope you can visit the show.
"Charms and Legends" is one of the entries for the show. I like the abstracted colorful figures and have been painting more in a similar series.

I love that you have added another figure to this painting and the loose way you've handled the paint! Bravo!
Thanks, Eva Because of a whole list of summer events I've decided to have a series of abstract couples - "Lovers" and can't wait to paint more of them. Several are completed already.
Love the bright colors and loose brushwork!
Thanks Shelley...check out my most recent post..
