This 30 minute DVD was all about limiting the strokes in the painting and forcing to use enough paint to create the frosting like surface. These DVD lessons are designed to breakdown the painting fundamentals into "one-idea-at-a-time" exercises. I think I failed this one because I rebelled and didn't want to count my painting strokes as I was just so intent on getting paint down - maybe next time. This lesson was about basic figure measurements and proportion guidelines. Each DVD lesson concentrates on one subject and theme. This was about 44 minutes in length and explains how to use some standard measurements for an 8 head figure for correct placement of various body parts. This is an excellent study if you want to paint the figure in story telling situations. 

This was study #9 and #10 so I have two more to complete for the 12 DVD set..woo hoo..
