(Painted for day 21 of 30 of the Leslie Saeta paint 30 paintings in 30 days challenge.)
This photo was taken at the Hibachi 97 Japanese Grill several years ago on a peep lunch with the Canvas by Canvas girls celebrating some event that escapes me now. I loved the red hat and the red tie and asked our chef to pose for us several times. I left the palette knife for the brush on this one but used the water soluble oils.
In a previous post I mentioned I'd joined the Palette Knife Painters blog. Yesterday Judy Mackey added my short video to this Palette Knife Painters website and there are several other videos you might enjoy there. Thanks Judy. I did a first yesterday as part of my Leslie Saeta WebinARTs class and put that same video on a YouTube Channel and it gives some steps in painting the Sheep's in the Meadow painting.
I had a goal this year to update my website; however it wasn't while I was painting the 30/30 challenge but that is what happened during the WebinARTs class. Here is my original website, http://nancystandlee.com and I'm working on these two additional ones (and both are still very much under construction and not all links work) and I haven't decided which one to change over. Maybe you could leave some comments on which one you prefer. Here are the two websites: http://nancystandlee.weebly.com and http://nancystandlee.fineartstudioonline.com.
