6x8 on canvas panel, original oil
$80
(Painted for day 7 of 30 of the Leslie Saeta paint 30 paintings in 30 days challenge.)
Painted with water soluble oils and a palette knife. I need to take another photo in the sun as this was during the evening and not as good as an outdoor shot would be (took another one with a cloudy morning and still not too swift). Also I said I'd take a photo of my drying tower invention. Well, it's not mine entirely. Lana Grow taught us how to do this in a workshop but we were using big paintings and big pieces of cardboard. It works very well but I don't have pets or little children.
The cardboard pieces are about 15" square and I used applesauce cups bottoms up for the cornerstones and I can get two small paintings on each piece. I deliver one outside like a pizza to take its photo and stand over it to take a photo. I like this method much better than trying to get the painting upright and I like early morning sun; however, it's supposed to rain in TX in my area for a few days.
