The Bunkhouse at the Wenmohs Ranch is an artists retreat converted from a spacious 1890's house and will accommodate 7 or 8 guests. It is also known as the Honeymoon House as there have been many babies born there. Some of the Don Sahli workshop students stayed there. Two days were in the studio and two days were plein air. The above painting was done in plein air in the morning by Nancy.  Don painted it in the afternoon and we could observe the changing shadow patterns.

 

 The Bunkhouse sits beside the Art Barn Studio.

 Don painting the Bunkhouse in the afternoon. He likes the Julian French Box easel and travels with his paints stored inside and puts it in checked luggage.

He is scheduled to return to Dena's Ranch in November 2013 for another workshop.
