Wine and Yellow Rose 14057
Happy New Year and I'm a little surprised that it has been this long since my last post. I'm preparing paintings for a group show at the Old Post Office Museum and Art Center in Graham, Texas.
As I am getting ready, varnishing and framing, and wiring I now have approximately 50 different sizes to bring to the show along with my painting peeps from Canvas by Canvas. The above painting was done at our last long weekend at the rented lake house in Gun Barrel City where we retreat, paint and share delicious food with each other.
During the time spent there we painted our newest truck:

The artists of Canvas by Canvas will be exhibiting their personal paintings at the Graham Old Post Office Museum and Art Center from January 17, 2015, through February 28th, with artwork themed around Food, Glorious Food! All paintings will reflect the theme with scenes of food and drink items. The exhibit will also include 2 or 3 of the Canvas by Canvas group's collaborative paintings relating to the theme. The month-long event will kick off with a reception from 6 to 8 PM on the evening of Saturday, January 17th, and everyone is invited.
