"Footsteps" A Sneaker
14 x 18 inch Torn Paper Collage Painting
An entry for the Free Art Gallery Event Super Bowl Week

A new entry for the big, free event by F6 Gallery opening Thursday evening February 3, 2011 at the Art Bowl MMXI located in the Lincoln Square Shopping Center. There will be snacks and music and meet the artist night so come out and share our love of art. Below this post is a slide show of some photos I took this morning that will help get you oriented to the location. Watch for the Mustang Fountain then you're close. The show will be open February 3 - 5 from 12:00 pm until 11:00 pm. It has been advised to travel from the west to get into Lincoln Square and that means stay off Collins! Use Center and Mesquite.

I've had 2 workshops with artist Donna Zagotta and you can search her name on my blog and read about those posts. She has listed my blog as one of the art blogs to watch in 2011. Thanks Donna and click HERE to see some of the blogs Donna has listed.

My son, Brad, called this morning to tell me he was doing some construction steel work for some Texas artists that had a studio and Bluemoon Farm and knew of my blog. Here they are and how nice to be introduced to some new artists friends, Luna Azul Studios. Check them out.

Look at some of the slides to see some of the landmarks around where the Art Show will be:

I really think you've outdone yourself with this collage . I love the fact that it takes a minute to focus and see the shoe! Congrats on the shout-out from Donna.I agree with her about you having a great blog.

Thanks so much, Eva. I like this dramatic color scheme also. I'm starting on a Steeler helmet this morning and I HOPE to get it finished before we hang.. then maybe I will have time to do a "girly shoe".
